Proactive Wildfire Armor is a San Diego company offering stationary fire defense systems that apply an eco-friendly fire-inhibiting chemistry to homes and surrounding vegetation before a wildfire arrives. Since roughly two-thirds of homes lost to wildfire ignite from wind-driven hot embers, treating rooftops, vents, and ground cover in advance can meaningfully reduce a home's risk.
Two systems are available: an above-ground rooftop spraying system and an underground perimeter sprinkler system. Both can be activated on demand, and the systems are supported with seasonal applications and annual maintenance checks.
The Locked-N-Loaded™ above-ground system saturates the home's roof and most ember-vulnerable surfaces with the company's MFB-31 fire inhibitor when activated. Installation includes wildfire-resistant vents, and the fire inhibitor is applied to vulnerable areas of the home twice each season.
The underground Mighty Fire Breaker® system creates a protective zone around the property by automatically spraying MFB-32 fire inhibitor over ground cover and native vegetation when smoke is detected. The storage tanks can be buried out of sight, and the chemistry never needs to be stirred or re-blended—it does not separate over time.
